A local businessman was robbed of more than MVR1 million (US$65,000) in cash on Monday night, local media reported.

A local businessman was robbed of more than MVR1 million (US$65,000) in cash on Monday night, local media reported.
Abdulla Jaleel, popularly known as Kane Seytu, was reportedly pepper sprayed and assaulted while he was going inside his house with the cash.
A police investigation is underway but it is unclear if any suspects have been arrested.
