Five arrested over rape
There were 417 sexual offences reported last year, with 15 cases reported so far this year.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the rape of a 25-year-old woman from Raa Dhuvaafaru, according to local media.
Mihaaru reports she was attacked by a group Thursday night at her home while her husband was away.
She lived with her in-laws who learned about the assault later, island residents told Mihaaru. She has returned to her home island.
The five include a minor who has been released under house arrest for seven days, police confirmed. The remaining four have been remanded in custody for 10 days.
