Imam injured in minister car prang

The man was discharged after getting treated for his injuries and getting an X-ray, a hospital official told Mihaaru.

A young imam was injured in an accident with a minister’s car in Gaafu Alif Villingili Thursday.
The 23-year old sustained injuries to his head after Gender Minister Zenysha Zaki’s vehicle collided with his motorcycle. The accident happened around 2:45 pm on the main road Ameenee Magu.
The man was discharged after getting treated for his injuries and getting an X-ray, a hospital official told Mihaaru.
“A taxi car from the island was rented by the minister. The accident happened near the atoll office on Ameenee Magu. The car was driven by a policeman. The car collided with a motorbike that was coming directly at it. I believe it happened while the Minister was going to the atoll office,” a source told Mihaaru.
