A 78-year-old man injured in a dangerous road accident in Addu City died Sunday night while undergoing treatment at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

A 78-year-old man injured in a road accident in Addu City died Sunday night while undergoing treatment at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
Abdulla Manikufaanu from the Feydhoo island was riding his bicycle around sunset when he was hit by a car on the link road, a family member told Mihaaru.
“He was unable to talk even when being taken to the hospital. He also had difficulty breathing because of broken rib bones,” the family member said.
The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries at the Feydhoo Health Center.
