A funeral was held yesterday for Ismail Naseer, a long-serving civil servant well-known Male’ identity.
Naseer held various posts in the government including a lengthy period as a member of the People’s Majlis.
He passed away after a prolonged illness at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), aged 77.
