Woman found hanged in Thinadhoo

A 26-year-old woman has been found hanged on Thinadhoo island in Gaaf Dhaal atoll.
Police said the apparent suicide was reported at 8:50 am Wednesday and that her body was discovered inside a house, local media reported.
Earlier this month, police began probing the death of a woman found hanged on the island of Nolhivaram in Haa Dhaal atoll.
A family member said the 42-year-old woman was suffering from mental health problems, but raised suspicions about her death.
Her body was sent to India after police decided to conduct a post-mortem.
A 22-year-old man died earlier this month after falling from the fifth floor of a building in the capital. It is not clear if it was an accident or if he committed suicide.
