Bangladeshi worker dies in construction accident

A Bangladeshi worker died Thursday after falling into a brick laying machine, Maldives police said.
A police spokesman said the accident happened in Fares island, Laamu atoll, where workers are developing a tourist resort.
Police could not provide details of the accident.
The Bangladeshi embassy in the Maldives was unavailable for comment.
