President’s Office announces Ramadan working hours
The President’s Office said if the first day of Ramadan falls on Wednesday May 16 the following day will be a public holiday, giving Maldivians a three-day weekend.

The President’s Office announced that civil servants will work from 10:00 am till 14:00 during Ramadan and during the first seven days of the following month.
It also said if the first day of Ramadan falls on Wednesday May 16 the following day will be a public holiday, giving Maldivians a long weekend.
