A man who was kept under house arrest has been found dead inside the property today.
Local media has reported that the deceased, identified by police as Mohamed Yazeed, 51 of Dhaandhoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, was being kept under house arrest for a drug related offence.
No details have been given as yet regarding the cause of death.
