DNA lifted from hairs found in the trunk of a car owned by one of the defendants matched Rilwan’s mother.
Prosecutors allege that journalist Ahmed Rilwan was abducted and that a red car owned by one of the suspects was used in the act.
Two suspects are charged in connection with the abduction three years ago. Both were present in court Sunday.
