Ithuru Vaahaka speaks with the youngest candidate contesting the Malé City mayoral election, who is also the only independent candidate running without the endorsement of a major political party.
Aiham Ahmed, candidate number one, is 27 years old and brings extensive experience in community service, environmental advocacy and conservation, and civic engagement.
