Mahzoom, who is backed by the Maldives Development Alliance, discusses his decision to run, his proposals on housing, transport and urban development, and his vision for the capital. He also shares his views on the referendum and responds to criticism about his youth and experience.
The ruling People’s National Congress candidate, Moosa Ali Jaleel, did not respond to repeated requests to participate in the series.
