Korean tourist drowns near Paradise Resort
The 66-year-old South Korean was snorkelling near the resort island.

A 66-year-old South Korean tourist drowned Wednesday afternoon while snorkelling near the Paradise Resort.
She was brought from the resort island to the ADK hospital in Malé around 5pm, police told the media.
According to some reports, she died while undergoing emergency treatment.
It was the second drowning accident of a tourist this year. A couple from the Philippines drowned Sunday morning while swimming near the Dhiffushi island in Kaafu atoll.
