Maumoon Abdul Gayoom is travelling to Bangladesh to watch Maldives play India in the SAFF final, according to a statement from the former president’s secretariat.
Gayoom is currently in Malaysia, and will be accompanied to Bangladesh by speaker of parliament Abdullah Shahid, the statement said.
