Two hospitalised after gang fight in Malé

A violent gang fight in the Maldives capital on Saturday night left at least two people hospitalised.
The fight took place in Sheeraazee Goalhi at around 9:30pm.

Mihaaru reported that one man had his head split by a machete. He was being treated in the intensive care unit of ADK hospital and is in critical condition.
The hospital’s managing director Ahmed Afaal told Mihaaru that the young man was recovering after surgery.
Another was taken to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital and was released after being treated, according to Avas.
A police spokesman said no arrests have been made so far and that an investigation is under way.
