Man beaten with pavement drainage slab in capital
The 20-year-old was attacked by five men in Maafannu.

A man was hospitalised after five men beat him with a pavement drainage slab in Malé, police said Monday.
The 20-year old was attacked by a group close to the headquarters of the BG Sports Club, which also operates as a gang, in Maafannu.
The incident was reported to police at 12:40am.
Photos seen by Maldives Independent show a man bleeding from his head, with a pavement drainage slab next to him.
